IBM has recently indicated that those who use MULC (Measured Usage License Charging) may see a significant increase in MQ TCB time after upgrading to CICS/TS 3.2. This is has to do with the change from using dedicated TCB’s for MQ in CICS to using open TCB’s. It appears that other non-MQ activity may be included in the accounting for MQ’s work.
