IBM has issued APAR PK70646 (PTF UK40779) to address a CPU utilization problem in CICS 3.2. The problem is specific to programs defined as threadsafe that perform DB2 calls and many (non-DB2) filecontrol requests. Such programs were experiencing excessive TCB switches, driving up CPU utilization.
